Kaboom!

After half a century of service, the vast cooling towers of the Athlone Power Station have been subtracted from the skyline they dominated for fifty years.

Great things come in sets of two, and so Monday Design and the Gregor Jenkin Studio have joined forces to present this scale replica salt and pepper grinder set machined in recycled aluminium. Limited to fifty sets and hand numbered, they represent each of the station’s years of service.
